For anyone who hasn't already stumbled upon it, wikileaks.org is a site dedicated to allowing people to anonymously release government and corporate documents into the wild in order to cast some sunshine on illegal or immoral activities that would otherwise get buried by those who can afford to do so. Leaks by the site have included an operations manual for the Guantanamo Bay detention camp, documents on Kenyan government corruption, and scores of documents detailing some pretty nasty corporate activities. Well it didn't take long for some to see the power of such a resource. Less than a year after it's inception it has been ordered by a federal judge in California that the domain name be blacklisted indefinitely after several documents tying the Swiss Bank Julius Baer to the aiding of the "ultra-rich's offshore tax avoidance, tax evasion, asset hiding and money laundering" were posted on the site and the bank's lawyers caught wind of it. Good luck guys. There are already 1000+ copies of the documents hosted on sites in dozens of countries and they are also making their way around bittorrent.
