From 7 a.m. Tuesday to 7 a.m. Wednesday:

* Denton police handled 337 calls for service and officer-initiated calls, including two cases of evading arrest, two frauds, one forgery, one suicidal person, two vehicle burglaries, six thefts, two reports of harassment, one unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, one assault, one case of resisting arrest, one criminal trespass, one criminal mischief and one vehicle burglary.

* Denton County sheriff’s dispatchers handled 263 calls for service and officer-initiated calls for the agencies they serve. Fifty-seven people were booked into county jail. Deputies took reports of one fraud, one theft and one assault.
